Why Is This Initiative Important?
This recognition goes beyond awards; it’s about amplifying women’s voices, acknowledging their efforts, and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow. In 2025, WGWF honored women who earned prestigious accolades both within their organizations and across the industry in 2024.
We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated Annual Award 2026 will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 (Covering 2025 to August 2026)!

Nomination Categories for the Award:
- CEO Award or equivalent award won by women in banking and/or finance – with 10+ years of service.
- Chairman Award or equivalent won by women in banking and/or finance – with 10+ years of service.
- Special Performance Award/Recognition won by women in banking and/or finance – with 5+ years of service.
- Women in banking and/or finance who have completed at least 20 years of service by August 2026.
- Other: From external or any other category.

Who We Are
WE GLOBAL WOMEN FOUNDATION (WGWF), was founded in 2020 by Shahnaz Sultana, CEO and Chief Consultant, of FINS ALLIANCE Risk Advisory, to promote women's career advancement in the financial sector through Knowledge Sharing, Networking, and Coaching. It is the first financial alliance for women’s career advancement in banking and finance in Bangladesh.
The Executive Committee was formed in June 2023, consisting of 15 senior female bankers from local and foreign banks operating in the country. We currently have around 1500 members and followers from around the globe belonging mostly to the financial sector.
The foundation upholds harmony and balance among all genders, an important milestone for achieving our goal. We have successfully arranged several virtual and in-person events and programs for Knowledge Sharing, Networking, and Coaching.
